Career Profile
I have been building WordPress sites for clients since 2016, from modify free/paid themes to full customized themes with multi-languages, currently focusing on self-training of headless WordPress with Gatsby.js.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a strong foundation of object oriented programming and five years of professional experience in China. I was mainly doing auto script writing for batch task processing before I switch to web development.
I am a fast learner and love learning new skills. I setup this githubpage resume with Jekyll in a couple hours base on a github repo without knowing Jekyll before.
Specialties
Exeperience in developing fully functional custom wordpress sites with multi-language using the auto or manual translation provided by WPML plugin.
I have experience running wordpress sites on Google Cloud Platform, familiar with offload WordPress media to Google Cloud Storage.
I am a big Docker fan and JAMStack fan. I do local developments using docker, all my clients have staging to production workflow. I also managing my own hosting with clients.
Familar with setting up custom wordpress sites with Bedrock and Trellis, with both premium managed wordpress hosting like Kinsta and Share Hosting.
Work Experience
I have been building and maintaining WordPress sites with my partner who is a Graphic Designer, he handles the sales, meetings, the design, UX/UI aspects of the site. We also work with content writers when neccessary. We also build static sites, updated Shopify sites. We have our own hosting, I also help clients who does not host with us to managed their hosting like update DNS records, setting up email, etc. Here is some sites that we built:
I worked as a Desktop Publishing (DTP) Engineer first at SAS Beijing doing software localization and Internationalization, with a focus on converting SAS software and it’s manuals into different languages. Later actually took on more work as a development engineer, responsible for internal tools development for Localization tasks.
Education
I took five courses at Web Development Department and Computer Science Department, to support my career for better understand and brushing my skills. Got A on all courses, list below

During my school years, I focused on programming courses of C and Java. My Graduation Thesis is based on my project of website development.
